SmushMonkey Studio ("we", "us", "our") built Baby Sleep Trainer as a paid application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our app.
Baby Sleep Trainer does not collect your name, email address, or any personal information. Your sleep training data stays on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app.
Session history (night number, check-in counts, interval durations, sleep times) is stored locally on your device and synced via Apple iCloud (CloudKit) to your other devices signed into the same Apple ID. This data is not accessible to us. Apple's iCloud privacy policy governs this storage.
If you use the partner sync feature, session data is shared between devices via a shared iCloud zone. This uses Apple CloudKit sharing and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. We do not operate any servers for this feature.
We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to collect anonymous usage events such as "session started" and "session ended", along with non-identifying properties like night number and session duration. These events do not include your name, email, Apple ID, or any information that could identify you. PostHog's privacy policy is available at posthog.com/privacy.
We use RevenueCat to track anonymous purchase analytics (e.g. how many copies of the app have been sold). RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier. It does not receive your name, email, or Apple ID. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
The app registers for Apple Push Notification service (APNs) to receive partner sync updates via CloudKit subscriptions. Your device token is managed by Apple and is not stored on our servers.
All sleep training data is stored on your device and in your iCloud account. We do not operate servers that store your data. Analytics data is processed by PostHog in the European Union and by RevenueCat in their infrastructure.
Baby Sleep Trainer is a tool for parents and caregivers. It does not collect information from children. No data about your child (name, age, or otherwise) is collected or transmitted by the app.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
